Grant Description
Grants to Louisiana nonprofit organizations in eligible locations to enhance the quality of life of local residents. Program areas include youth and children; services for older adults, including transportation; housing; adult education; community leadership capacity building, and legal services such as taxes, successions, and other housing matters. Funding is also available for community beautification, including greenspace maintenance, tree planting, and neighborhood cleanup. The Fund will support nonprofit organizations that serve the Gert Town Community.

The Fund will support nonprofit organizations that serve the Gert Town Community. Approximate boundaries: the geographic granting area is roughly from South Carrollton Avenue on the west side (between Fig and Edinburgh streets) to College Court on the east side (between Walmsley and Clio streets).
