Grants of $500 and grants of $1,000 to Louisiana individuals in eligible locations for disaster relief efforts. Funding is intended to assist local artists, cultural bearers, and creators who have been socially and financially impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis and Hurricane Ida. Grants will support performers, writers, musicians, and filmmakers working across various disciplines who are facing the negative effects of global health crises, pandemics, emergencies, disasters, and unmitigated climate vulnerabilities while advancing transformative and equitable change within the broader arts community in Southeast Louisiana.
