Grants to USA post-secondary schools for medical professionals, healthcare institutions, medical education companies, professional associations, and medical societies for projects related to women's health. Funding is intended for projects addressing endometriosis to be presented at the 2022 ACOG Annual Clinical & Scientific Meeting.

Projects that will be considered for support will focus on comprehensive educational initiative at the 2022 ACOG Annual Clinical & Scientific Meeting in May 6-8, 2022 in San Diego, CA, including, but not limited to:

  • The role of GnRH antagonists as a treatment for endometriosis highlighting clinical differentiators and long-term treatment results.
  • The systemic, chronic nature of EM and that it’s an estrogen driven disease associated with pain, comorbidities, and economic burden.
  • The progressive nature of EM and that delays in diagnosis have a negative impact on clinical outcomes, including how clinical and noninvasive tools facilitate earlier diagnosis and medical intervention (prior to surgery).
  • Review the clinical impact of utilizing medical therapy and explore opportunities for concurrent use with surgery, including implications of repeated surgery.

The successful applicant will propose projects that actively engage the learner, employ innovative learning technologies, provide opportunities for learner exchange and include metrics (needs assessment and outcomes data that allows for meaningful assessment of program impact).

Target Audience: Obstetrician-Gynecologists and other healthcare professionals involved in the care and treatment of patients with endometriosis.
