Request a Grant Writer

Grants of $5,000 to USA and Puerto Rico for-profits for business development support. Funding is intended to assist emerging businesses as they strive to grow and expand. Requests will be accepted from small businesses with a revenue of under one million dollars that are committed to community and diversity. Preference will be given to entrepreneurs from marginalized communities.

Number of Grants:

The number of Grant Recipients will be approximately 50.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Grant Recipients will receive a $5,000 (USD) unrestricted grant to be used for the benefit of the Grant Recipient’s business.

Each Grant Recipient may receive recognition on the Hello Alice platforms.

Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute property of equal or greater value for any grant (or portion of a grant) that cannot be awarded.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible, applicants must be all of the following as of the first day of the Program Period:
- An entrepreneur who is the leading executive (Founder President, CEO, etc.) of a company that meets the below business criteria
- A legal resident of one of the fifty United States, D.C., or Puerto Rico
- 18 years of age or older (19 in AL and NE.

Business criteria from first day of Program Period:
- Be a for-profit business
- Have less than $1M in 2020 gross annual revenue
- Have a commitment to diversity and community
- Have a clear plan for use of funds

Please note: The potential winners are subject to verification of eligibility by Sponsor.

Preference will be given to New Majority owners - entrepreneurs who identify as womxn, persons of color, LGBTQ+, owners with disabilities, and/or military affiliated.

Pre-Application Information:

Please note that applications for this grant program must be submitted no later than December 17, 2021 at 6pm ET.

Recipients will be notified by email or phone within sixty (60) days of program close.

How to Enter:
- To enter the Program, each Officer must clearly and concisely complete all sections of the online application, which consists of a series of questions about the Entrant and the Officer, by taking these steps during the Program Period:
(1) Go to the application link below;
(2) Create an account or log in if you already have an account; and,
(3) Complete and submit application (“Entry”). The full list of Entry questions can be found in the application form at the apply link below.

Sponsor and/or their designated agencies reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to conduct a brief interview with any Entrant and request for Entrant to submit additional materials relating to their Entry.

Limit: One Entry per Entrant and per Officer. Multiple entries received for any Entrant or Officer after the first Entry received from that Entrant or Officer will be void.
