Grants to Louisiana nonprofit organizations in eligible parishes for community response efforts related to the COVID-19 coronavirus crisis. Funding is intended to support existing programs that have been adversely affected by the pandemic. Eligible programs must serve the parishes of Caddo and/or Bossier.
Community Foundation of North Louisiana has created the COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund to assist nonprofit organizations that are directly responding to the coronavirus pandemic. In the next few days and weeks, Foundation staff will assess the needs of the community, as has been done after previous disasters. The Foundation will coordinate grants from this fund with the response of other organizations and local and state government.
In order to qualify, the proposed program must be an existing program that requires funding as a direct consequence of the COVID-19 Pandemic due to one or both of the following: 1) the program has expanded in size and scope due to an increase in volume of clients as a result of COVID-19; or 2) the program has become more expensive due to a change in circumstance directly resulting from COVID-19.
