Grants to USA nonprofit organizations, teachers, principals, school faculty, PTA groups, and other K-12 school-affiliated organizations in eligible southeastern states for enhanced education programs in K-12 classrooms. Funding is intended to support opportunities for educational enrichment in the areas of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math), sports, culinary arts, and music. Eligible states include Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
The Krystal Foundation's mission is to strengthen, enhance and enrich Krystal’s neighborhood schools and families. Through their Squaring is Caring grants program, the Foundation provides need-based grants to communities in their 11 states, which have extracurricular program elimination or cutback.

K-12 schools or nonprofit organizations must be within the Krystal footprint (11 states).
The grant window is currently open from 11/1 – 12/31. Award recipients will be announced in 2019.
Each applicant is limited to one (1) application per grant window. K-12 schools and nonprofit organizations may submit an unlimited number of applications, but are limited to winning one (1) grant per calendar year.
