Emory University, Art of Problem Solving, Expii, Templeton World Charity Foundation and Pressman Film
Grants and Fellowships to USA, Canada, and International individuals for summer training, enrichment programs, and research related to STEM topics. Funding is intended to further the educational development and pursuits of the recipients, and to discover talented new STEM scholars across the globe.
Examples of approved summer research and training include Awesome Math, Canada/USA Mathcamp, Modern Mathematics, PROMYS, Ross Mathematics, the REU in Arithmetic Geometry, and Number Theory at Emory University, to name a few.
The Spirit of Ramanujan STEM Talent Initiative presents two types of awards:
- Templeton-Ramanujan Development Awards: Books and monetary grants to offset the cost of online resources.
- Templeton-Ramanujan Fellowships: Monetary grants of up to $5,000 to offset the costs of approved 2019 enrichment programs (not including high school or college tuition).
Award winners may also choose to study with expert mentors in their field of choice.

Individuals from USA, Canada, and around the world who are planning to participate in approved summer research/training in STEM subjects are eligible to apply.
Although awards will be made on a rolling basis (until May 30, 2019), all completed applications received by December 31, 2018 will be given full consideration.
Applicants must indicate how grant funds will be used in their personal statements.
Applicants must apply independently to research/training programs, and a SOR application does not guarantee acceptance to the aforementioned programs.
