Grants averaging $250 to USA artists to support creative projects. Funding is intended to assist with expenses such as recording studio time, performances, art supplies, exhibits, project-related expenses, and residencies. This grant is open to artists of any discipline.
Artists may also apply for community service projects which are artistic, and collaborative projects with other individual artists. An artist may also apply as an individual to do a program or project with a nonprofit organization (as long as the artist is nt an employee of the organization or on an extended contract).
IACA believes the arts are essential to the health and vitality of communities and nation. IACA is passionate about supporting artists in creating and recognize the great need for support, and that receiving funding can sometimes be a complicated process. This program was started in honor of every artist who has ever impacted the life of another.

IACA Mini-Grants generally average $250.
Projects must be completed within six months of receiving the grant award. If an ongoing project, it must begin within six months of receiving the grant.
- Be a U.S. citizen or a permanent legal resident.
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Not be a current high school or college undergraduate student. Graduate students may apply, but IACA does not fund tuition or student projects
- Not be a staff member or a board member of IACA (relatives of such are also disqualified from applying)
Applications or work samples containing profanity or vulgarity will be disqualified.
Application Deadline: February 18, 2019 (11:59 PM CST)
Grant Notification: March 2019.
IACA will review applications and select finalists each week. There is no set number of finalists. If an applicant stands out, that person becomes a finalist. At the end of the grant cycle, IACA will review all finalists and vote to determine one or more winners.
IACA requires a $10 non-refundable application fee payable by credit card. This helps make the review of applications possible by the jurors. Members will have the fee waived.
