Grants to Louisiana nonprofit organizations in eligible regions for programs that benefit local women and children. Funding is intended to support organizations that focus on improving the quality of life for women and children. Funds may be used for any legitimate need in addressing the needs of the target populations. Eligible organizations will serve residents in Alexandria.

The proposed project/program must align with the Junior League of Alexandria’s community impact focus area (2020-2023) of Education and Mentorship of Safety and Life Skills for Women and Children.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Grants are awarded up to $2,500 each.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Nonprofit organizations in the community who are working in the League’s focus area in Alexandria, Louisiana are eligible.

Grants cannot be used for Payroll and/or other administrative costs.

Pre-Application Information:

The deadline for applications is February 28, 2020.

If the application is mailed, it must be postmarked by the deadline date.

If selected, the organization will receive an invitation to the awards ceremony, which will be held on April 14, 2020
