Request a Grant Writer

Grants ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 to USA nonprofit organizations to strengthen communities, enhance education, and promote health. Consideration will be given to sustainable programs demonstrating long-term benefit. Funding may be requested to support program-specific expenses rather than general administrative expenses.

Each applying organization must demonstrate collaborative efforts with partnering organizations to sustain its program both simultaneous with and beyond the Foundation’s support.

Foundation Mission: The Kelly Cares Foundation strengthens Communities and inspires hope by investing resources to improve Health & Education.

Foundation Vision: The communities touched by the Foundation are a model of educational success and wellness that provide hope and inspiration to all.

Program Areas:

Health:
Although the promotion of breast cancer awareness is a matter deemed important by the Foundation, Kelly Cares supports healthcare organizations by funding valuable research and essential services as well as prevention programs and healthy-living initiatives.

Education:
Funding educational research and supporting institutional advancement at all levels and capacities reflects the Foundation's fundamental commitment to quality education.

Community:
In the belief that communities prosper as a direct result of active participation on the part of its citizens, the Foundation actively supports and promotes initiatives that encourage the engagement of individuals in their respective communities.

Number of Grants:

The Foundation will award three (3) grants.

Estimated Size of Grant:

The Foundation will award grants between $5,000 and $10,000.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

The Foundation will accept and consider completed applications from any and all 501(c)(3) local, regional, and/or national organizations.

The applying organization’s name must match its federal 501(c)(3) documentation; otherwise, the application must include a letter from the 501(c)(3) organization explaining its relationship to the applying organization.

Grants are not available for nonqualified applicants and/or expenses, including, but not limited to:
-Non 501(c)(3) organizations;
-Organizations that discriminate on the basis of age, race, creed, gender, sexual orientation, or national or ethnic origin;
-Travel expenses for staff, board members, or volunteers;
-Organizations that re-grant the funds;
-Post-event fundraising;
-Individuals

Pre-Application Information:

The Foundation will accept applications from September 1st through December 31, 2017, 11:59 PM.

All 2018 applicants will receive grant notification regarding grant funding or decline by March 15, 2018.
